Connections
Past, Present, Future
Actually there is no time, only states of being and the refining of lifestyles within them. Did you think you could be just as satisfied in any century? The goal of life is to be able to get to the state of being in which you wanted to live - and you know, people always get there one way or another.
Humankind has developed three repositories for self-improvement: a past, a present, and a future. These help us to see where we've been, where we are, and where we're going respectively, but of course none of these have to represent improvement if we don't want them to. Some people stay in hells for centuries, and some move out of their mistakes much more quickly.
There is no absolute development schedule, no guarantee of progress. There isn't even any one divine plan - there are many plans, continually revised around and within us. Many people alive today like to think that the powers of the physical sciences and techologies are proving that humanity has either progressed or devolved absolutely, when in fact it is just clear that that many people were in need of this kind of detail of reality study in order to focus their determinations to love and care and take loving caring actions. Some people don't know how to help others and feel useful until they learn a trade, so good for them. Give them time.
Our technological economy spells out many niches for our interdependencies to be practiced within. You may find yourself spending a lifetime to perfect an ability to move some electrons or genetic material from here to there within physical parameters, while others may take much less time to achieve the same effects for a healing by some visualization exercises - one technique is no better than the other, since both require real intentions, and both develop real intimacies with faces of God. How can we say one face of God is better than another? What God cares about as should we is what did we use an ability for. A healing, for example, of the damage from an error of choice. All the beings of the universe are just taking as much study as they need to stretch out their recognitions for powers until they are able to promise and deliver their own potentials reliably to their innate inclinations for a higher good.
Every visualization does create a form somewhere, and manifesting it into your life will mean going so fully into your own experience of it, that it will feel "real" and sense-surrounding and its impact will change your life where you live. But just because you experience something doesn't mean that it is really real, that anyone who knows better would choose to live that way, or that its legacy can be built upon in the face of still greater truths and potentials. There are many futures, but how many are really worth living and thus are to be expected? It is good that sustainability is becoming increasingly a goal condition for achievements of success in our world, because it is a critical condition for consciousness which is multi-tiered. To be lasting, something must be resonant with (must fit in with, be parallel to, or piggyback upon) a divinely sponsored plan for All-benefit.
Chaotic, self-unreliant individuals can and do enter their own heavens repeatedly, but not with awareness or willful ability or memory, so they cannot think to stay and reap the benefits that are being offered to all the individuals who visit there. It is sad when someone becomes ignorable to themselves and pitiable to others. But we each have our own higher selves in their own higher companies, and they are calling to us and preparing the ways for us to enter into our own magical places of eternal community, which are those that reflect our own innermost tender and hoped-for desires. Those would be the futures that are real, the places where our higher selves are already thriving.
There are such glorious things that we have not dared to even think to ask for yet, for fear that God will say "How dare you ask for this when you know you have done that?" We think we'll be stuck, forever damned with a past. But of course it isn't God who is thinking this way, in terms of unforgivabilities pending corrections in time, but parts of ourselves. Parts that are in pain, parts that are calling for healing and reorientation toward a real future, a place of expansion and hope and regeneration. A real future is where you are set free.
Sometimes I ask myself, can it really be so, that my simple inabilities to access full conscious communication with my spiritual origins in my times of distress could account for the despairs and tragedies which I keep revisiting in recycled pasts? And then I think, well of course it is! Anyone who is disconnected from their spiritual home is in pain and is vulnerable to more errors that will pile up, polluting the past, present, and future views all at once.
So we each are spending many lifetimes just focussing on cleaning up our acts, so that we may enter and re-enter in full consciousness our own destiny locations, places where we can remember and study the details of our own best moments, creating far more forever. We're seeking our peace, we're seeking our returns to center and potentials. At whatever our paces may be, that's what makes our histories. May these narratives be landmarked by many points of self-forgiveness.
In a
not-so-distant future lies a goal-state of complete integration, a wonderous communion with spiritual friends, a state which some call the ascension. While we're not there yet, we're getting there. Me and you, reading this now. You simply wouldn't be here if it were not so.
