Let's make some connections now.

This is an astral travel fansite. My name is Carl, and I enjoy astral travelling, which for me is usually a departure from a night dream. I keep a journal of, write about, and treasure my astral breakthroughs because they are so profound and real; they are thoughtful, growth stimulating, emotionally rich, and intensely affirming of life and love.

Astral sensations may also be known as going out of the body, being in the spirit, real dreaming (an extension of lucid dreaming), day dreaming, visiting heaven and other planets, sleep paralysis, and/or feelings of dissociation. These are functions of our own consciousness, so they can be more or less internalized, more or less pleasurable, more or less clarified, and more or less instructive. Certainly the experiences they lead to can be entirely welcome or unwelcome, depending on how we are taught to expect and deal with the unexpected. In the past I used to feel "tunneled out" a lot, and I was scared that I was losing my mind or dying - until I discovered that I was not losing a life but gaining a new one, and there were new/old friends waiting for me on the other side of common human fears. I had previously heard of some of the terms for what was happening to me, but words are just words until they become connected to your own experiences for something real. You have to grow your own mind, no one can do this for you.

Astral travel is just one doorway into the expanded universe of our potentials for becoming glorified spiritual beings. There are many points of focus to choose among in the constellations of self-development. Personally, I am also interested in reincarnation, spirit relationships, synchronicities, and inspired theology and art. I would encourage you to allow yourself to be gravitated toward what works for you in your life, what expands upon you, what makes you more you. It's up to you to value and uphold that which brings you into more hope, vision, dreaming, freedom, fascination, joy, and love.

The following is a collection of some transcendent categories which may interest you, leading to summaries for how I feel they relate to astral research and a coherent world view. You will probably soon notice in reading them that I am something of a classical moralist philosopher, in many agreements with others like myself, even as I enjoy discussing the most esoteric and sci-fi of topics. This is because I have found that understanding and mastering good versus evil is one of the most fruitful assignments for most people on Earth. That this would be true is demonstrated by most people's obsessions and flirtations with the nature of evil. By appreciating the secrets of choice and personal responsibility behind all the hoopla I have freed myself up to travel ahead to much greater satisfactions. I believe we all do well to debate these issues more admittedly and gently, as well as to thank the Earth early and often for having thus far so graciously hosted our high-impact lessons, games, and spiritual experiments!

There, that is just some of the cosmology I feel qualified to share insight on at this time. And still there is so much more to consider to explore, including phenomena like ESP, energy healing, body rituals, miracles, higher selves, psychokinesis, prophets and saints, the variety of world religions (can they all be right, each under their own conditions?), God and Goddess and the Heavens' All, man and woman, sacred geometry, ego, origins of evil, various arcanum, soulmates, eternity... you get the idea! I'll likely grow this page as time goes on, as a primer for my point of view. I'm just one fruit on the tree of life, so I have plenty of my own opinions which you simply don't have to share. But it's such a big universe that's so grand to understand, even just for the headline concepts, so mostly I just wanted to convey a confident sense that it can indeed all make sense, if you but keep an open mind and heart and try. Most explanations will leverage other explanations, since the universe does run on repeating patterns, and there is a grand design, for the Light and the Love which will benefit All.

Astral experiences, and the willingness to register, evaluate, and share them, can connect many of the dots in your own life. Don't be afraid to try. You are your own ongoing experiment, in what to believe for where that takes you. Boundless love and wisdom are in store, for you along with everyone else who has ever come into existence on this magnificent journey we call just being alive and knowing it too. Being alive comes to us for free as the Great Gift, so it's that second part, the knowing it, which is what we are all working for. It is what enables us to say yes to what is good for us, and no to what is not - it's the personal touch. It is what makes the victory of being loved and being able to contribute more love so sweet and eternal, everywhere we may go.
