Betty Andreasson
Abduction art by Betty Andreasson, 1967. Suggesting astral abilities, the alien beings passed through the door of her home "in a jerky motion, leaving a vapory image behind" each time they vanished and reappeared. Her abduction experiences are famously well documented, and in spite of the trauma she was more mystically contented than most abductees.

In an earlier experience when she was thirteen, Betty Andreasson was brought to a large crystal door, where she was told by an alien that beyond lay the One. She then saw her own astral body go through the door and return with a blissful expression. Later attempts under hypnosis to recall what lay beyond could not get past the experience of a painfully bright white light.
