Abduction art by Betty Andreasson, 1967. Suggesting astral abilities, the alien beings passed through the door of her home "in a jerky motion, leaving a vapory image behind" each time they vanished and reappeared. Her abduction experiences are famously well documented, and in spite of the trauma she was more mystically contented than most abductees. |

In an earlier experience when she was thirteen, Betty Andreasson was brought to a large crystal door, where she was told by an alien that beyond lay the One. She then saw her own astral body go through the door and return with a blissful expression. Later attempts under hypnosis to recall what lay beyond could not get past the experience of a painfully bright white light. |
