Here we are graced with a portrait of Seth, one of the first and best known of the channeled teachers of the late 20th century, drawn by Robert Butts, the channeler's husband. Seth almost single-handedly defined the parameters of the New Age channeling phenomenon, coining such positive and challenging phrases as "All That Is" to denote the Godly spiritual summation of all consciousnesses, and "you create your own reality", the oft trivialized call to be responsible for all events by the power of your own conscious mind to find, comprehend, and augment as needed every reason why. Seth was the larger, encompassing being of a spirit Roberts contacted briefly via Ouija board who was named Frank Withers, and an even larger encompassing being whom Roberts called Seth 2 later superseded even Seth. Seth's energy was vibrant, candid, and unstoppably wise, as thousands of pages and several books were authored to help guide humanity. |

Jane Roberts channeled Seth since a floodgate of wisdom and writable ideas burst within her mind on September 9, 1963. What is less known is that her husband Robert had to offer his own special visual awareness of Seth, and was able to paint and draw the teacher from visions and near materializations he could witness until Jane's passing in 1984. |
