Tibetan Shambhala
Most religions speak of heavenly lands, complete with beautiful cities and gardens. For example, OOB explorer Robert Monroe found a place he called "the Park", a series of gardens maintained by many generous beings as a receiving place for the newly deceased. Shown above, an image of the Tibetan kingdom of Shambhala in a nineteenth century tanka holds sufficient detail to suggest a map of both enlightenment and an actual place seen. Most Buddhist teachers are said to retire to their private heavens on mountain tops when they leave their bodies for the last time.
